Set amidst the lush greenery and rolling hills of the Perigord Vert,  in the Limousin National Park, Le Grand Villotte is a traditional stone French farmhouse with many original features. The North Dordogne area – noted for its foie gras and wild boar – is easily accessible by road (7hrs by car from Caen) and air (? Hours from  Gatwick to Limoges, then 30 minutes to the house)  and enjoys a wealth of villages, towns, chateaux to visit and country tracks to walk and cycle. Nearby St Estephe’s large lake is ideal for swimming, recreation and sunbathing and in Busserolles itself there are spring filled ponds near the centre that also offers a traditional bakery, a small supermarket,  a hairdresser, Mairie and church.

The farmhouse has been tastefully upgraded to ensure a comfortable stay, the accommodation comprising:-  one double bedroom with a king sized bed; two twin bedded rooms,  and one semi private room with a sofa bed. Downstairs there is an open lounge with satellite TV and a wood burning stove. Alongside is the  fully equipped kitchen/diner with a dishwasher, range cooker and fridge, plus a spare fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble drier in the utility room, alongside which is the bath/shower room with a separate w.c.

The attractive garden courtyard is surrounded by traditional outbuildings that lead to a large lawned area with a free standing swimming pool. Table tennis and bicycles are also there to use.
